I tried my hand at this all too common subject. The head needs more work and the wings are unforgivably too long.

The structure of this model is very similar to Satoshi's Flying Giant Herculese Beetle. I did not realize that until after I had designed it. The wings are too long in this model and the two points on the crest of the beetle need to be re-thought.
