Sharktopus 1.2

2004-4-6

While touring some colleges in the Northeast, I saw a really neat sculpture of a "Sharktopus", half shark, half octopus. It was made by a senior at RISD named Tony Colella. (Tony, thank you for the inspiration. If you would like me to remove the photo from my website, please email me) While waiting for my sister to take the tour, I sketched out a crease pattern, and while taking the tour of Brown, I folded one from a campus map. It was acceptable. I folded this one later from 10" Japanese foil.

The crease pattern. The proportion down the left side divide the paper into 2:2:root2. The the reference point is in the articles section.
