Pegasus 2.1

2003-6-2

I have always loved the image of a Pegasus, but most Pegasus models that I had seen before, with the exception of Kawahata's, had short wings, or wings that extended from the back of the animal. My two objectives for this model were to make large wings that came out of the shoulders of the horse, while not sacrificing any of the beauty of the horse. The hind legs are short and thick which will hopefully later be remedied. This model was folded from Michael LaFosse's Origamido paper.

The structure of this model makes it very compact and lock well but inefficient with the internal paper. The body becomes thick, but the wings are very large.
